I'm back from the greatest week of my life. I can't believe that it's over. I want to go back SOO bad. I can't believe how much my eyes were opened during the course of one week. Our group was amazing and I hope to be able to stay in close contact with them. The kids were so gorgeous and the land was amazing. To see how happy all of them were when I get upset if I don't have the newest whatever was very rewarding to me. I want to go back to Nicaragua so bad now and I feel as though some day I will. Hopefully this summer I will get to. If you want to know more then just ask.

NICARAGUA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday, March 05, 2006

Last night was the last Regina function and I realized something. I'm really going to miss those wonderful ladies. They have meant so much to me during my time here at Harding. Being beauxed was one of the best moments here at Harding, ranking right up there with going to Australia and forming life long friendships. I know that I haven't been around very much this semester and I'm sorry. Some of that has to do with my grades and some of it has to do with me. I'm very saddened I won't be able to go to the retreat because it sounds like an absolute blast. I couldn't have wished to be beauxed by another girls club on campus. You ladies in Regina have shown me so much love and kindness that you will never know how much it meant to me. Watching the slide show last night I started to get a little choked up and I know that when ya'll circle up to sing the beau song to us that last time at that last function I'm going to be screaming for ya'll to sing it over again so the moment doesn't have to end. I love you all.

Well, only a few more days to spring break meaning one thing, NICARAGUA. In case you can't tell, I'm a little excited. Our group is way cool and I'm really looking forward to being uncomfortable. I've discovered that I tend to stay in my comfort bubble and not break out of it so I'm looking forward to doing so during the week. Today was a great day, no classes, went and did the Chi Sigs service project of parking cars, then took a nap, went to spring sing practice (it's looking GREAT Heather and Don), then to Taco Bell with Megan, Betsy, Jess, and Steven. Good times over taco's having guys checking out the girls and making dumb jokes. Hope you all had a great day.

Tonight was my last home basketball game. As I sat there just trying to take it all in one last time, I realizes how much this place and these people have meant to me. You have all touched my life so greatly and I hope I have touched some of you as well. As much as I love it here, I feel as though I'm in the ending pages of this chapter of my life and I'm excited about seeing what happens in the next chapter. Hopefully some of you will be in it. This semester seems to be flying by. I'm really excited about going to Nicaragua for Spring Break and serving God. I only wish I had done a campaign earlier. Also Third Day is in concert next Friday night in Memphis. If you want to go then let me know.
